Randy was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada were he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing and earning his Eagle Scout in the Canadian wilderness.  In 1999, Randy left Canada to serve as a full-time missionary in the Provo Utah South Mission for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints.

In 2004, he received his Canadian Red Seal Journeyman Electrical License and Alberta Masters Electrical Certifications. In 2005, he founded an Alberta based Electrical Service Company – Probe Electric LLC.

In 2010, he and his family immigrated to Utah, were he earned his real estate license and worked as a full-time real estate agent, while continuing to manage his Canadian Electrical business. In 2012, he was deployed to Afghanistan as a Traveling QA/QC Master Electrical Safety Inspector, providing mission critical support to the US Troops under the congressionally mandated Task Force POWER program (Protect Our Warfighters and Electrical Resources).

Upon completion of 24 months and three overseas contracts in Afghanistan. Randy returned home to form Five Star Electric Service LLC; sharing with Southern Utah his highly sought after level of expertise.

Randy is married to the love of his life Lacey and they have three beautiful children.
