About Us
Your expert St George electrician, Randy Plett, provides the highest level of proficiency and mastery to his customers. He has ensured the best electrical experience possible from residential to commercial and industrial clients for over 20 years.
In 2004, he received his Canadian Red Seal Journeyman Electrical License and Alberta Masters Electrical Certifications. In 2005, he founded an Alberta based Electrical Service Company – Probe Electric LLC.
In 2010, he and his family immigrated to Utah where he earned his real estate license and worked as a full-time real estate agent while continuing to manage his Canadian Electrical business. In 2012, he was deployed to Afghanistan as a Traveling QA/QC Master Electrical Safety Inspector, providing mission-critical support to the US Troops under the congressionally mandated Task Force POWER program (Protect Our Warfighters and Electrical Resources).
Upon completion of 24 months and three overseas contracts in Afghanistan, Randy returned home to form Five Star Electric Service LLC; sharing with Southern Utah his highly sought after level of expertise.

I had the DIY blues... I had some dimmer switches installed in my home by my father, my dad ok work until they burnt out and my lights on the house no longer worked. It burnt out my breaker boxes and electric things. It would have been 1100$ cheaper to have a real professional come and install the dimmers. Randy, was thorough, he communicated every step of the process and was respectful as he repaired the work. He was quick and made time in his busy schedule to make sure my home was safe and working.
