About Five Star Electric Service
Your trusted St. George electrician, Randy Plett, delivers an exceptional level of skill, professionalism, and attention to detail. With over 30 years of experience serving residential, commercial, and industrial clients, Randy is known for providing safe, reliable electrical solutions done right the first time.
In 2004, Randy earned his Canadian Red Seal Journeyman Electrician License along with Alberta Master Electrician certifications. The following year, he founded Probe Electric LLC, an Alberta-based electrical service company that quickly built a reputation for quality and accountability.
In 2010, Randy and his family immigrated to Utah, where he earned his real estate license and worked as a full-time real estate agent while continuing to manage his Canadian electrical business. This unique background gives him a deep understanding of both construction standards and property ownership—benefiting homeowners and businesses alike.
In 2012, Randy was deployed to Afghanistan as a Traveling QA/QC Master Electrical Safety Inspector, providing mission-critical support to U.S. troops under the congressionally mandated Task Force POWER (Protect Our Warfighters and Electrical Resources) program.
After completing 24 months and three overseas contracts, Randy returned home and founded Five Star Electric Service LLC, bringing his highly sought-after expertise to St. George and Southern Utah. Today, his military-grade standards, international experience, and commitment to excellence set Five Star Electric Service apart.
